High pressure washers are mechanical devices that use water and in some cases detergent to clean surfaces such as vehicles, buildings, drive- and pathways, garden furniture and patios.

The high pressure washer consists of:

• An electric motor or petrol powered engine
• A water pump
• A combination of nozzles designed to focus the water.

A range of different nozzles, such as pencil, fan, rotating and a range of brushes, are available for the high pressure washers, each for a particular application. Some high pressure washers allow detergent to be introduced into the water stream, assisting in the cleaning process.
